Tyler's latest thing is movie quotes or characters in a few movies.
His first quote was "Speed. I am speed." Can you name the movie?
His other character name that he loves to talk about is "the eye in the sky". Name that character and movie.
Also for another little tidbit, it is no surprise that we love to eat our pizza. Tyler's favorite topping is Pupalo (pepperoni). He can say pepperoni but thinks pupalo sounds better.
Peacock Feathers
Birds of a feather flock together...our flock consists of Daddy Peacock (Jeremy), Mommy Peacock (Wendy), Big Boy Peacock (Tyler) and Baxter the Beta.

Out of the Mouth of a Toddler
If anyone knows where we go to daycare, you will also know that at the end of the day if you are good, you get some M&Ms from whomever is sitting at the front desk. About two weeks ago, we were leaving and the lady there was asking Tyler about the dinosaur on his shirt. She said "Tyler that dinosaur is so scary." As he is walking away, he says "You're so scary!"

Out of the Mouths of Babes
On Thursday, June 16, Tyler had a few mishaps at daycare that day and came home with scratches on his face, neck and leg. So I asked him, "do your boo-boos hurt?" Tyler promptly replied, "Yes Mommy, my boobies hurt."
Desoto Caverns
Over Memorial Day weekend, Jeremy's dad (Pops) came down from Chicago to visit. We had a laid back weekend full of relaxing. On Friday afternoon we visited Desoto Caverns. Tyler had more fun with the water running throughout the park more so than any attraction. We got to ride the train, see the butterflies and goats, and of course the Caverns. It is a pretty neat place to visit and we were glad that the park wasn't packed.

Warrior Dash
Over the 2nd weekend of May, Jeremy and some of his college friends decided to do the Warrior Dash in Mountain City GA. It was an interesting obstacle course for a 5K. It involved minimal running, treading through water, crawling over cars, running through tires, climbing over walls, crawling through mud pits, etc. It was quite a site to see everything that they did. All in all Jeremy did great for minimal prep time before.

Finally an Update!
Over the past weekend, we were able to get a lot of family fun time in. Jeremy finally was able to get some good time riding his new mountain bike. I will get pictures soon. Tyler was in his first ever fashion show and did great. Other than that we played around the house and outside and enjoyed our time spent together.
I was able to catch Tyler reading on several occasions throughout the weekend, but this is my favorite picture of him reading.

Below is the outfit he wore to “school” today. The Easter Bunny was making a special visit to the daycare and I had to make sure he looked his best for the silly rabbit. You can tell he is back to loving the camera again.

Tyler's Party
Tyler's 2nd Birthday has come and gone. He was so excited to have his friends and family around to enjoy it with. We are truly blessed to have everyone here. I think the picture show would explain it better than me trying to.

Halloween
Yay me! It only took me a few days this time to actually post on our blog and update the background too. Not sure that I like that though. I will continue to play around with it until I find something that is suitable.
We have spent the past two weekends doing the Halloween thing...carnivals and actually trick or treating in our neighborhood. It took Tyler a few times to get it, but he thoroughly enjoyed getting the Chock-o-lot (chocolate).
Also in other Tyler news, he now doesn't just repeat words that you say but will repeat entire sentences. He knows to ask for someone when they aren't where they should be or if he misses them.
He is even quoting movie lines from Finding Nemo. "I'm gonna getcha. I'm gonna getcha." That is what Dory says when she is going after the light on a scary fish in the dark waters. If you ask him, he will tell you it is from Nemo. It amazes me at how much of a sponge he truly is.
We both truly love our time with Tyler and are very blessed to have such a good, polite child.
Below are some pictures from Halloween festivites. If you notice in one, he is standing and has chocolate drool coming down his costume. That was the only way he would let me take his picture.
